God At Eventide – December 27

December 27 – When Evil Smiles

Remember that the forces of evil are always ranged against you. They know the power you can become as a channel for God-Power.

I had to conquer them in the wilderness before My Life of Healing and Helpfulness could be all-powerful.

Not by great falls but by little stumbles does evil seek the downfall of My friends. Your Mountain of Transfiguration can only come after your conquest in the wilderness. Temptations at which your whole nature would shudder are no temptations for you.

Beware the smiling face of evil, it’s seeming innocence, its hand of friendliness.

Fail Me not. Will you not walk the path I trod?

  1. I was disappointed you used a beautiful white tiger to be an evil face. This is not what Christ was up against in the wilderness. Nor the evil any of us will be up against. If anyone should run into a white tiger, it won’t be a “temptation” he’s up against.

    1. Gaila,
Thanks for your note. I’m sorry the photo of the tiger appeared to be the face of evil. It was not intended to be that, but I can certainly see your point after reading your note. That was a quick choice of a photo not considered carefully enough before posting. I’ll try to be more attentive in the future!
Blessings to you and yours this day and always, Carol
