March 14 -God’s Touch

Near, all broodingly near, as some tender mother bird anxious over its young, I am here. I am your Lord, Life of your body and mind and soul – renewer of your youth.

You do not know all that this time of converse with Me will mean to you. Did not My servant Isaiah say, “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”

Persevere in all I tell you to do. The persistent carrying out of My commands, My desires, will unfailingly bring you, as far as spiritual, mental, and temporal things are concerned, to that place where you would be.

If you look back over My Words to you, you will see that My leading has been very gradual, and that only as you have carried out My wishes, have I been able to give you more clear and definite teaching and guidance.

Man’s ecstasy is God’s touch on quickened, responsive, spirit-nerves. Joy – Joy – Joy

Forget not all his benefits … who satisfieth thy mouth with good
things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Psalm 103:2,5

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. Jude 1:24-25

You Are Complete

Be happy in Me. Feel that your life is complete in Me. Know the Joy of a friendship in which those who love Me share.

Know a glad contentment in the security of your protected and guided life. Value the Power that Union with Me gives you.

The greatest power that money, fame, or position of the world can give, still leaves the possessor but as a child beating helpless hands against an impregnable fortress, as compared with the Power of My Spirit, which can render a follower of Mine himself an invincible, an all-conquering force.

March 13 – Spiritualism

Wait before Me, gently breathing in My Spirit.

That Spirit which, if given a free entrance, and not barred out by self, will enable you to do the same works as I did, which being interpreted is, will enable Me to do the same works, and even greater than I did when on earth – through you.

Spiritualism is wrong. No man should ever be a medium for any spirit, other than Mine.

All you should know, all it is well for you to know of My Spirit-Kingdom, I will tell you when and how I see best. The limit is set by your own spiritual development.

Follow My injunctions in all things.

Peace – Peace – Peace.

God Calling Update

God Calling on the Two Listeners site has been hosted by GoDaddy for the past ten years. Unfortunately, GoDaddy has retired the program used for email delivery of the daily devotionals. Their replacement product would cost us more than 50 times over what we have been paying.

After searching for a replacement option, we are moving to WordPress.com for hosting the website and for providing daily devotionals to our subscribers. The format is a little different now. We’ll be posting the daily devotionals as a blog. You can subscribe to the blog to get notifications and reminders to link back to the post. You’ll also be able to add comments and have conversations with other subscribers on the blog pages.

You’ll find buttons on each of the devotionals to allow you to share them in your favorite social media sites.

We are in transition, rebuilding the website and setting up the daily devotionals. I’m sorry for the late notice, but the increase in pricing was a surprise factor for us. We’ll move as quickly as possible to get everything rebuilt and running smoothly. In the meantime, if you have suggestions for improvement or ideas you’d like to see us explore, please add them to the comments on this post.

As always, all the devotionals, Thursday Treasures features, and books on the website are free to you. We never ask for money, nor do we ever try to sell you anything.

April 3 – Greatness Is Service

My children, I am here, your waiting Lord, ready at your call. I am among you as one that serveth, Meek and Holy, ready to be used and commanded. Remember that is the finest quality of greatness — service. I, who could command a universe — I await the commands of My children. Bring Me into everything.

You will find such Joy as the time goes on in speaking to each other of Me, and together climbing higher. Always humble, meek, and lowly in heart.

Learn this — no position — just a servant.

“Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice” Philippians 4:4

November 10 – Rest For The Weary

This weariness must compel you to sink back, a tired child, to rest in My Love. There remain, until that Love so permeates your being that you are supported by it, and, so strengthened, arise.

Until you feel that this is so, remain inactive, conscious of My Presence. Yours is a big work, and you must refresh yourself and only approach it again after periods of repose.

The activity on the Spirit-plane is so great, so wonderful, that but for the times of enforced rest and prayer, you would be stirred to an emotional activity on the physical plane that defeats My ends.

Realize My overflowing and overwhelming Bounty. The stores of the Lord are inexhaustible, but to test My generosity to the full you must be generous.
